August was yet another strong month for the market despite concerns of seasonal weakness that typically happens around this time of the year.
The S&P 500 posted its fourth consecutive monthly gain, with the equal weight S&P 500 seeing its longest winning streak since 2021 amid September rate-cut expectations. Both the S&P 500 and NASDAQ reached all-time highs this month too.
Chinese equities also saw strong inflows and performance with the Shanghai Composite up over 8%.
